About
James M. Gallagher has maintained his legal practice from 1988 to the present. Mr. Gallagher has represented clients in approximately 1,000 bankruptcy cases under Chapters 7 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Since the inception of his practice, he has lectured to community groups on the subject of bankruptcy and has been a guest on the radio program "Law You Can Know." Mr. Gallagher has published Bankruptcy Court decisions in the following matters: In Re Seltzer, 185 B.R. 116 (E.D.N.Y 1996) and In Re McGrath 166 B.R. 795 (E.D.N.Y 1994).
Mr. Gallagher also practices in the areas of: wills, estates and probate; accidents/personal injury; real estate; reducing real property taxes; matrimonial matters in the supreme and family courts; and litigation before the New York and Federal Courts.
